 Jeremiah 36, verse 30-31

Jehoiakim Burns Jeremiah’s Scroll

³⁰ Therefore this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night. ³¹ I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness; I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem and the people of Judah every disaster I pronounced against them, because they have not listened.’”

یَرمِیاہ ایک اور طُومار لِکھتا ہے

30اِس لِئے شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہُویقِیم کی بابت خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ اُس کی نسل میں سے کوئی نہ رہے گا جو داؤُد کے تخت پر بَیٹھے اور اُس کی لاش پھینکی جائے گی تاکہ دِن کو گرمی میں اور رات کو پالے میں پڑی رہے۔ 31اور مَیں اُس کو اور اُس کی نسل کو اور اُس کے مُلازِموں کو اُن کی بدکرداری کی سزا دُوں گا اور مَیں اُن پر اور یروشلیِم کے باشِندوں پر اور یہُوداؔہ کے لوگوں پر وہ سب مُصِیبت لاؤُں گا جِس کا مَیں نے اُن کے خِلاف اِعلان کِیا پر وہ شِنوا نہ ہُوئے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said to Jeremiah take another scroll and write on it all the words written in the first scroll which is burned by king - 

and tell him as you burn the first scroll - and said that why you wrote  that king of Babylon must come and will not leave any human and beast in this place and destroy this land 

God told Jeremiah, write another scroll – and tell king of Judah – king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and wipe out men and beast and Jehoiakim king of Judah will have no one to sit on the throne of David- his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and frost by night- I will punish him, his children and his attendants for their wickedness- I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem every disaster I pronounced against them

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
