 Jeremiah 37, verse 1-2

Jeremiah in Prison

Zedekiah son of Josiah was made king of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; he reigned in place of Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim. ² Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

صدقیاہ یَرمِیاہ سے درخواست کرتا ہے

1اور صِدقیاہ بِن یوسِیاؔہ جِس کو شاہِ بابل نبُوکدؔرضر نے مُلکِ یہُوداؔہ پر بادشاہ مُقرّر کِیا تھا کُونیاؔہ بِن یہویقِیم کی جگہ بادشاہی کرنے لگا۔ 2لیکن نہ اُس نے نہ اُس کے مُلازِموں نے نہ مُلک کے لوگوں نے خُداوند کی وہ باتیں سُنِیں جو اُس نے یَرمِیاؔہ نبی کی مَعرفت فرمائی تِھیں۔

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah, write another scroll – and tell king of Judah – king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and wipe out men and beast and Jehoiakim king of Judah will have no one to sit on the throne of David- his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and frost by night- I will punish him, his children and his attendants for their wickedness- I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem every disaster I pronounced against them

No one pay attention on the words dictated by Jeremiah as God told him 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
