 Jeremiah 37, verse 3-5

Jeremiah in Prison

³ King Zedekiah, however, sent Jehukal son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message: “Please pray to the Lord our God for us.”

⁴ Now Jeremiah was free to come and go among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison. ⁵ Pharaoh’s army had marched out of Egypt, and when the Babylonians who were besieging Jerusalem heard the report about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.

صدقیاہ یَرمِیاہ سے درخواست کرتا ہے

3اور صِدقیاہ بادشاہ نے یہُوکل بِن سلمیاؔہ اور صفنیاؔہ بِن معسیاؔہ کاہِن کی مَعرفت یَرمِیاؔہ نبی کو کہلا بھیجا کہ اب ہمارے لِئے خُداوند ہمارے خُدا سے دُعا کر۔ 4ہنُوز یَرمِیاؔہ لوگوں کے درمِیان آیا جایا کرتا تھا کیونکہ اُنہوں نے ابھی اُسے قَید خانہ میں نہیں ڈالا تھا۔ 5اِس وقت فرِعونؔ کی فَوج نے مِصرؔ سے چڑھائی کی اور جب کسدیوں نے جو یروشلیِم کا مُحاصرہ کِئے تھے اِس کی شُہرت سُنی تو وہاں سے چلے گئے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God told Jeremiah, write another scroll – and tell king of Judah – king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and wipe out men and beast and Jehoiakim king of Judah will have no one to sit on the throne of David- his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and frost by night- I will punish him, his children and his attendants for their wickedness- I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem every disaster I pronounced against them

No one pay attention on the words dictated by Jeremiah as God told him 

Zedekiah was made new king of Judah by king of Babylon - and he sent meesage to Jeremiah to pray to God for us 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
