 Jeremiah 37, verse 9-10

Jeremiah in Prison

⁹ “This is what the Lord says: Do not deceive yourselves, thinking, ‘The Babylonians will surely leave us.’ They will not! ¹⁰ Even if you were to defeat the entire Babylonian army that is attacking you and only wounded men were left in their tents, they would come out and burn this city down.”

صدقیاہ یَرمِیاہ سے درخواست کرتا ہے

9خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ تُم یہ کہہ کر اپنے آپ کو فریب نہ دو کہ کسدی ضرُور ہمارے پاس سے چلے جائیں گے کیونکہ وہ نہ جائیں گے۔ 10اور اگرچہ تُم کسدیوں کی تمام فَوج کو جو تُم سے لڑتی ہے اَیسی شِکست دیتے کہ اُن میں سے صِرف زخمی باقی رہتے تَو بھی وہ سب اپنے اپنے خَیمہ سے اُٹھتے اور اِس شہر کو جلا دیتے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

Zedekiah was made new king of Judah by king of Babylon - and he sent meesage to Jeremiah to pray to God for us 

King Zedekiak asked Jermehiah to pray from God for us and inquire about us – God said tell him Pharos’s army of Egypt which is marching to support you will go back to Egypt – then the Babylonians will return and attack this city and capture it and burn it down

God said don’t deceive yourself that you will escape from Babylonians- surely they will come and burn this city down

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth\
