Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 38, verse 4-6

⁴ Then the officials said to the king, “This man should be put to death. He is discouraging the soldiers who are left in this city, as well as all the people, by the things he is saying to them. This man is not seeking the good of these people but their ruin.”

⁵ “He is in your hands,” King Zedekiah answered. “The king can do nothing to oppose you.”

⁶ So they took Jeremiah and put him into the cistern of Malkijah, the king’s son, which was in the courtyard of the guard. They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud.

یَرمِیاہ ایک کیِچڑ والے حَوض میں

4اِس لِئے اُمرا نے بادشاہ سے کہا ہم تُجھ سے عرض کرتے ہیں کہ اِس آدمی کو قتل کروا کیونکہ یہ جنگی مَردوں کے ہاتھوں کو جو اِس شہر میں باقی ہیں اور سب لوگوں کے ہاتھوں کو اُن سے اَیسی باتیں کہہ کر سُست کرتا ہے کیونکہ یہ شخص اِن لوگوں کا خَیر خواہ نہیں بلکہ بدخواہ ہے۔

5تب صِدقیاہ بادشاہ نے کہا وہ تُمہارے قابُو میں ہے کیونکہ بادشاہ تُمہارے خِلاف کُچھ نہیں کر سکتا۔ 6تب اُنہوں نے یَرمِیاؔہ کو پکڑ کر ملکیاؔہ شاہزادہ کے حَوض میں جو قَید خانہ کے صحن میں تھا ڈال دِیا اور اُنہوں نے یَرمِیاؔہ کو رسّے سے باندھ کر لٹکایا اور حَوض میں کُچھ پانی نہ تھا بلکہ کِیچ تھی اور یَرمِیاؔہ کِیچ میں دھس گیا۔

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah told people that God says whoever stays in this city will die by sword, famine, or plague – but whoever goes to Babylonians will live- they will escape  with their lives – this city will certainly will be given into the hands of king of Babylon – who will capture it

Jeremiah was put into cistern because of telling them God's word
