Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 42, verse 19- 21

¹⁹ “Remnant of Judah, the Lord has told you, ‘Do not go to Egypt.’ Be sure of this: I warn you today ²⁰ that you made a fatal mistake when you sent me to the Lord your God and said, ‘Pray to the Lord our God for us; tell us everything he says and we will do it.’ ²¹ I have told you today, but you still have not obeyed the Lord your God in all he sent me to tell you. ²² So now, be sure of this: You will die by the sword, famine and plague in the place where you want to go to settle.”

19اَے یہُوداؔہ کے باقی ماندہ لوگو! خُداوند نے تُمہاری بابت فرمایا ہے کہ مِصرؔ میں نہ جاؤ۔ یقِین جانو کہ مَیں نے آج تُم کو جتا دِیا ہے۔ 20فی الحقِیقت تُم نے اپنی جانوں کو فریب دِیا ہے کیونکہ تُم نے مُجھ کو خُداوند اپنے خُدا کے حضُور یُوں کہہ کر بھیجا کہ تُو خُداوند ہمارے خُدا سے ہمارے لِئے دُعا کر اور جو کُچھ خُداوند ہمارا خُدا کہے ہم پر ظاہِر کر اور ہم اُس پر عمل کریں گے۔ 21اور مَیں نے آج تُم پر یہ ظاہِر کر دِیا ہے تَو بھی تُم نے خُداوند اپنے خُدا کی آواز کو یا کِسی بات کو جِس کے لِئے اُس نے مُجھے تُمہارے پاس بھیجا ہے نہیں مانا۔ 22اب تُم یقِین جانو کہ تُم اُس مُلک میں جہاں جانا اور رہنا چاہتے ہو تلوار اور کال اور وبا سے مَرو گے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

The remnant of Judah left on land asked Jeremiah to pray for us to God so that everything go well with us.  God told Jeremiah if you stay in this land – I will build you up and not tear you down- so don’t be afraid from king of Babylon as I will show compassion and he will have compassion on you and restore  you to your land

God said tell remnant of Judah if you will not obey me and leave this place and go to Egypt for fear of war, plague and sword – then this all will follow you there - & you will be an object of horror, a curse and an object of reproach, you will never see this place again

Jeremiah told remnant of Judah make sure don’t go to Egypt otherwise you will die by sword, famine and plague

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
