 Jeremiah 43, verse 1-7

When Jeremiah had finished telling the people all the words of the Lord their God—everything the Lord had sent him to tell them— ² Azariah son of Hoshaiah and Johanan son of Kareah and all the arrogant men said to Jeremiah, “You are lying! The Lord our God has not sent you to say, ‘You must not go to Egypt to settle there.’ ³ But Baruch son of Neriah is inciting you against us to hand us over to the Babylonians, so they may kill us or carry us into exile to Babylon.”

⁴ So Johanan son of Kareah and all the army officers and all the people disobeyed the Lord’s command to stay in the land of Judah. ⁵ Instead, Johanan son of Kareah and all the army officers led away all the remnant of Judah who had come back to live in the land of Judah from all the nations where they had been scattered. ⁶ They also led away all those whom Nebuchadnezzar commander of the imperial guard had left with Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan—the men, the women, the children and the king’s daughters. And they took Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch son of Neriah along with them. ⁷ So they entered Egypt in disobedience to the Lord and went as far as Tahpanhes.

یرمِیاہ کو مِصرؔ لے جایا گیا

1اور یُوں ہُؤا کہ جب یَرمِیاؔہ سب لوگوں سے وہ سب باتیں جو خُداوند اُن کے خُدا نے اُس کی معرفت فرمائی تِھیں یعنی یہ سب باتیں کہہ چُکا۔ 2تو عزریاؔہ بِن ہوسعیاؔہ اور یُوحناؔن بِن قرِیح اور سب مغرُور لوگوں نے یَرمِیاؔہ سے یُوں کہا کہ تُو جُھوٹ بولتا ہے۔ خُداوند ہمارے خُدا نے تُجھے یہ کہنے کو نہیں بھیجا کہ مِصرؔ میں بسنے کو نہ جاؤ۔ 3بلکہ بارُوؔک بِن نیرِؔیاہ تُجھے اُبھارتا ہے کہ تُو ہمارا مُخالِف ہو تاکہ ہم کسدیوں کے ہاتھ میں گرِفتار ہوں اور وہ ہم کو قتل کریں اور اسِیر کر کے بابل کو لے جائیں۔ 4پس یُوحناؔن بِن قرِیح اور سب فَوجی سرداروں اور سب لوگوں نے خُداوند کا یہ حُکم کہ وہ یہُوداؔہ کے مُلک میں رہیں نہ مانا۔ 5پر یُوحناؔن بِن قرِیح اور سب فَوجی سرداروں نے یہُوداؔہ کے سب باقی لوگوں کو جو تمام قَوموں میں سے جہاں جہاں وہ تِتّربِتّر کِئے گئے تھے اور یہُوداؔہ کے مُلک میں بسنے کو واپس آئے تھے ساتھ لِیا۔ 6یعنی مَردوں اور عَورتوں اور بچّوں اور شاہزادِیوں اور جِس کِسی کو جلَوداروں کے سردار نبُوزراداؔن نے جِدلیاؔہ بِن اخِیقاؔم بِن سافن کے ساتھ چھوڑا تھا اور یَرمِیاؔہ نبی اور بارُوؔک بِن نیرِؔیاہ کو ساتھ لِیا۔ 7اور وہ مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں آئے کیونکہ اُنہوں نے خُداوند کا حُکم نہ مانا۔ پس وہ تحفخِیس میں پُہنچے۔

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah told remnant of Judah make sure don’t go to Egypt otherwise you will die by sword, famine and plague

Remnant of Judah entered in Egypt along with Jeremiah and Baruch in disobedience to the Lord

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
