 Jeremiah 43, verse 8-13

⁸ In Tahpanhes the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: ⁹ “While the Jews are watching, take some large stones with you and bury them in clay in the brick pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace in Tahpanhes. ¹⁰ Then say to them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will set his throne over these stones I have buried here; he will spread his royal canopy above them. ¹¹ He will come and attack Egypt, bringing death to those destined for death, captivity to those destined for captivity, and the sword to those destined for the sword. ¹² He will set fire to the temples of the gods of Egypt; he will burn their temples and take their gods captive. As a shepherd picks his garment clean of lice, so he will pick Egypt clean and depart. ¹³ There in the temple of the sun in Egypt he will demolish the sacred pillars and will burn down the temples of the gods of Egypt.’”

8تب خُداوند کا کلام تحفخِیس میں یَرمِیاؔہ پر نازِل ہُؤا۔ 9کہ بڑے پتّھر اپنے ہاتھ میں لے اور اُن کو فرِعونؔ کے محلّ کے مدخل پر جو تحفخِیس میں ہے بنی یہُوداؔہ کی آنکھوں کے سامنے چُونے سے فرش میں لگا۔ 10اور اُن سے کہہ کہ ربُّ الافواج اِسرائیل کا خُدا یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھو مَیں اپنے خِدمت گُذار شاہِ بابل نبُوکدؔرضر کو بُلاؤُں گا اور اِن پتّھروں پر جِن کو مَیں نے لگایا ہے اُس کا تخت رکُھّوں گا اور وہ اِن پر اپنا قالِین بِچھائے گا۔ 11اور وہ آ کر مُلکِ مِصرؔ کو شِکست دے گا اور جو مَوت کے لِئے ہیں مَوت کے اور جو اَسِیری کے لِئے ہیں اَسِیری کے اور جو تلوار کے لِئے ہیں تلوار کے حوالہ کرے گا۔ 12اور مَیں مِصرؔ کے بُت خانوں میں آگ بھڑکاؤُں گا اور وہ اُن کو جلائے گا اور اسِیر کر کے لے جائے گا اور جَیسے چَرواہا اپنا کپڑا لِپیٹتا ہے وَیسے ہی وہ زمِینِ مِصرؔ کو لِپیٹے گا اور وہاں سے سلامت چلا جائے گا۔ 13اور وہ بَیت شمس کے سُتُونوں کو جو مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں ہیں توڑے گا اور مِصریوں کے بُت خانوں کو آگ سے جلا دے گا۔ 

My point of view about above verses

Jeremiah told remnant of Judah make sure don’t go to Egypt otherwise you will die by sword, famine and plague

Remnant of Judah entered in Egypt along with Jeremiah and Baruch in disobedience to the Lord

When they entered Egypt word of God came to Jeremiah – take some large stone and bury them in brick pavement at entrance of palace of Pharos, & tell them I will sent my servant Nebuchadnezzar to conquer the city – he will set his throne over these stones – he will set fire to temples of gods of Egypt – he will clean Egypt – he will bring death to those who are destined for it , captivity to those who destined for captivity and sword for those destined for sword

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
