Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 44, verse 26-27

Disaster Because of Idolatry

²⁶ But hear the word of the Lord, all you Jews living in Egypt: ‘I swear by my great name,’ says the Lord, ‘that no one from Judah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my name or swear, “As surely as the Sovereign Lord lives.” ²⁷ For I am watching over them for harm, not for good; the Jews in Egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all destroyed.

26اِس لِئے اَے تمام بنی یہُوداؔہ جو مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں بستے ہو! خُداوند کا کلام سُنو۔ دیکھو خُداوند فرماتا ہے مَیں نے اپنے بزُرگ نام کی قَسم کھائی ہے کہ اب میرا نام یہُوداؔہ کے لوگوں میں تمام مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں کِسی کے مُنہ سے نہ نِکلے گا کہ وہ کہے زِندہ خُداوند خُدا کی قَسم۔ 27دیکھو مَیں نیکی کے لِئے نہیں بلکہ بدی کے لِئے اُن پر نِگران ہُوں گا اور یہُوداؔہ کے سب لوگ جو مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں ہیں تلوار اور کال سے ہلاک ہوں گے یہاں تک کہ بالکُل نیست ہو جائیں گے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said as still you are not obeying me and determined to go to Egypt so I will destroy you there with plague, famine and sword – none of remnant of Judah who will live in Egypt return except a few fugitives

People of Judah who came to Egypt did listen to word of God spoken through Jeremiah and continued their offerings to queen of heaven 

God said tell these people that you and your wives have vowed to burn incense & pour drink offerings to queen of heaven so do what you promised and surely disaster will come upon you

All people of Judah who are in Egypt will be destroyed by famine or sword - now my focus is on them for destruction and not for their well being  

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
