 Jeremiah 44, verse 28

Disaster Because of Idolatry

²⁸ Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand—mine or theirs 

28اور وہ جو تلوار سے بچ کر مُلکِ مِصرؔ سے یہُوداؔہ کے مُلک میں واپس آئیں گے تھوڑے سے ہوں گے اور یہُوداؔہ کے تمام باقی لوگ جو مُلکِ مِصرؔ میں بسنے کو گئے جانیں گے کہ کِس کی بات قائِم رہی۔ میری یا اُن کی۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said all who are living in Egypt will pray to me or swear by name – I am watching over them for harm and not for good – all Jews in Egypt will parish by sword and famine until they are destroyed

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
