 Jeremiah 45, verse 1- 5

A Message to Baruch

 When Baruch son of Neriah wrote on a scroll the words Jeremiah the prophet dictated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, Jeremiah said this to Baruch: ² “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch: ³ You said, ‘Woe to me! The Lord has added sorrow to my pain; I am worn out with groaning and find no rest.’ ⁴ But the Lord has told me to say to you, ‘This is what the Lord says: I will overthrow what I have built and uproot what I have planted, throughout the earth. ⁵ Should you then seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For I will bring disaster on all people, declares the Lord, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.’”

بارُوک کے ساتھ خُداوند کا وَعدہ

1شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہُویقِیم بِن یُوسیاؔہ کے چَوتھے برس میں جب بارُوؔک بِن نیرِؔیاہ یَرمِیاؔہ کی زُبانی کلام کو کِتاب میں لِکھ رہا تھا تو یَرمِیاؔہ نے اُس سے کہا۔ 2اَے بارُوؔک خُداوند اِسرائیل کا خُدا تیری بابت یُوں فرماتا ہے۔ 3کہ تُو نے کہا مُجھ پر افسوس کہ خُداوند نے میرے دُکھ درد پر غم بھی بڑھا دِیا! مَیں کراہتے کراہتے تھک گیا اور مُجھے آرام نہ مِلا۔

4تُو اُس سے یُوں کہنا کہ خُداوند فرماتا ہے دیکھ اِس تمام مُلک میں جو کُچھ مَیں نے بنایا گِرا دُوں گا اور جو کُچھ مَیں نے لگایا اُکھاڑ پھینکُوں گا۔ 5اور کیا تُو اپنے لِئے امُورِ عظِیم کی تلاش میں ہے؟ اُن کی تلاش چھوڑ دے کیونکہ خُداوند فرماتا ہے دیکھ مَیں تمام بشر پر بَلا نازِل کرُوں گا لیکن جہاں کہِیں تُو جائے تیری جان تیرے لِئے غنِیمت ٹھہراؤُں گا۔

My point of view about above verses

When Baruch was writing scroll he said Lord add to my sorrow then God told Jeremiah – tell this to Baruch – I will overthrow what I have built and uproot what I have planted throughout the earth – Are you seeking great things for you, don’t seek them as I will bring disaster on all people – but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
