A Message About Egypt

 This is the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations:

² Concerning Egypt:

This is the message against the army of Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt, which was defeated at Carchemish on the Euphrates River by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:

³ “Prepare your shields, both large and small,     and march out for battle! ⁴ Harness the horses,     mount the steeds! Take your positions     with helmets on! Polish your spears,     put on your armor!

کرکمِیس کے مقام پر مِصرؔ کی شکست

1خُداوند کا کلام جو یَرمِیاؔہ نبی پر اقوام کی بابت نازِل ہُؤا۔ 2مِصرؔ کی بابت:۔ شاہِ مِصرؔ فرِعونؔ نِکوؔہ کی فَوج کی بابت جو دریایِ فُراؔت کے کنارے پر کرکمِیس میں تھی جِس کو شاہِ بابل نبُوکدؔرضر نے شاہِ یہُوداؔہ یہُویقِیم بِن یوسیاؔہ کے چَوتھے برس میں شِکست دی۔

3سِپر اور ڈھال کو تیّار کرو

اور لڑائی پر چلے آؤ۔

4گھوڑوں پر ساز لگاؤ۔

اَے سوارو! تُم سوار ہو اور خَود پہن کر نِکلو۔

نیزوں کو صَیقل کرو۔

بکتر پہنو۔

My point of view about above verses

The word of Lord for king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar concerning Egypt to be  destroyed by him as Isreal took refuge there 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
