A Message About Egypt

¹⁸ “As surely as I live,” declares the King,     whose name is the Lord Almighty, “one will come who is like Tabor among the mountains,     like Carmel by the sea. ¹⁹ Pack your belongings for exile,     you who live in Egypt, for Memphis will be laid waste     and lie in ruins without inhabitant.

نبُوکدؔرضر (نبُوکدنضر) کی آمد

18وہ بادشاہ جِس کا نام ربُّ الافواج ہے یُوں فرماتا

ہے کہ

مُجھے اپنی حیات کی قَسم جَیسا تبُور پہاڑوں میں

اور جَیسا کرمِل سمُندر کے کنارے ہے

وَیسا ہی وہ آئے گا۔

19اَے بیٹی جو مِصرؔ میں رہتی ہے! اَسِیری میں جانے

کا سامان کر

کیونکہ نُوف وِیران اور بھسم ہو گا۔

اُس میں کوئی بسنے والا نہ رہے گا۔

My point of view about above verses

The word of Lord for king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar concerning Egypt to be  destroyed by him as Isreal took refuge there 

The Egyptians will flee here and there to get escape from the king of Babylon -but  nor swift and strong can escape from their terror 

God says Egypt thinks it will cover the earth as Nile rises - but it will not 

God informs that Egypt will destroy on the day of God's vengeance 

Following message given by God to Jermeiah regarding attack of king of Babylon on Egypt

God announces that king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar will come to destroy Egypt. Because of his fear Israel will go back to their own country -  Egypt will laid waste as declared by God almighty - the ultimate king 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
