 Jeremiah 46, verse 27-28

²⁷ “Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant;     do not be dismayed, Israel. I will surely save you out of a distant place,     your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security,     and no one will make him afraid.²⁸ Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant,     for I am with you,” declares the Lord. “Though I completely destroy all the nations     among which I scatter you,     I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure;     I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

خُداوند اپنے لوگوں کو بچائے گا

27لیکن اَے میرے خادِم یعقُوبؔ ہِراسان نہ ہو اور

اَے اِسرائیل گھبرا نہ جا

کیونکہ دیکھ مَیں تُجھے دُور سے

اور تیری اَولاد کو اُن کی اَسِیری کی زمِین سے

رہائی دُوں گا

اور یعقُوبؔ واپس آئے گا اور آرام و راحت

سے رہے گا

اور کوئی اُسے نہ ڈرائے گا۔

28اَے میرے خادِم یعقُوبؔ ہِراسان نہ ہو خُداوند

فرماتا ہے کیونکہ مَیں تیرے ساتھ ہُوں۔

اگرچہ مَیں اُن سب قَوموں کو جِن میں مَیں نے

تُجھے ہانک دِیا نیست و نابُود کرُوں

تَو بھی مَیں تُجھے نیست و نابُود نہ کرُوں گا

بلکہ مُناسِب تنبِیہہ کرُوں گا اور ہرگِز بے سزا نہ

چھوڑُوں گا۔

My point of view about above verses

God said Jacob my servant don’t be afraid – I will bring you back to your land from wherever I scattered you and will completely destroy those nations among which I scatter you but I will not completely destroy you – but discipline you in due measure- I will not let you go entirely unpunished

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
