A Message About the Philistines

 This is the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines before Pharaoh attacked Gaza:

² This is what the Lord says:

“See how the waters are rising in the north;     they will become an overflowing torrent. They will overflow the land and everything in it,     the towns and those who live in them. The people will cry out;     all who dwell in the land will wail

فِلسِتیوں کے بارے میں خُداوند کا پَیغام

1خُداوند کا کلام جو یَرمِیاؔہ نبی پر فلِستِیوں کی بابت نازِل ہُؤا اِس سے پیشتر کہ فرِعونؔ نے غزّہ کو فتح کِیا۔:۔ 2خُداوند یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ

دیکھ شِمال سے پانی چڑھیں گے

اور سَیلاب کی طرح ہوں گے

اور مُلک پر اور سب پر جو اُس میں ہے

شہر پر اور اُس کے باشِندوں پر بہہ نِکلیں گے۔

اُس وقت لوگ چِلاّئیں گے

اور مُلک کے سب باشِندے نالہ کریں گے۔

My point of view about above verses

Word of God concerning Philistines before King of Egypt attacked Gaza 

God said the inhabitants of Gaza will wail because of Pharaoh's attack 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
