Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 49, verse 14-16

¹⁴ I have heard a message from the Lord;     an envoy was sent to the nations to say, “Assemble yourselves to attack it!     Rise up for battle!”

¹⁵ “Now I will make you small among the nations,     despised by mankind. ¹⁶ The terror you inspire     and the pride of your heart have deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks,     who occupy the heights of the hill. Though you build your nest as high as the eagle’s,     from there I will bring you down,” declares the Lord.

14مَیں نے خُداوند سے ایک خبر سُنی ہے بلکہ ایک ایلچی یہ کہنے کو قَوموں کے درمِیان بھیجا گیا ہے کہ جمع ہو اور اُس پر جا پڑو اور لڑائی کے لِئے اُٹھو۔ 15کیونکہ دیکھ مَیں نے تُجھے قَوموں کے درمیان حقِیر اور آدمِیوں کے درمِیان ذلِیل کِیا۔ 16تیری ہَیبت اور تیرے دِل کے غرُور نے تُجھے فریب دِیا ہے۔ اَے تُو جو چٹانوں کے شِگافوں میں رہتی ہے اور پہاڑوں کی چوٹِیوں پر قابِض ہے اگرچہ تُو عُقاب کی طرح اپنا آشیانہ بُلندی پر بنائے تَو بھی مَیں وہاں سے تُجھے نِیچے اُتارُوں گا خُداوند فرماتا ہے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God pronounced judgement for Edom 

God told them hide yourself as you will be punished like Esau - God said I will uncover their sins and expose their concealing places - God said I will punish all those who deserve to be punished - I swear God declares - God said even if you live in clefts of rocks or top of mountains - i will bring you into open for punishment 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
