Listen !!!! God speaks

 Jeremiah 49, verse 17-18

¹⁷ “Edom will become an object of horror;     all who pass by will be appalled and will scoff     because of all its wounds. ¹⁸ As Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown,     along with their neighboring towns,” says the Lord, “so no one will live there;     no people will dwell in it.

17اور ادُوؔم بھی جایِ حَیرت ہو گا۔ ہر ایک جو اُدھر سے گُذرے گا حَیران ہو گا اور اُس کی سب آفتوں کے سبب سے سُسکارے گا۔ 18جِس طرح سدُوؔم اور عمُورؔہ اور اُن کے آس پاس کے شہر غارت ہو گئے اُسی طرح اُس میں بھی نہ کوئی آدمی بسے گا نہ آدمؔ زاد وہاں سکُونت کرے گا خُداوند فرماتا ہے۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God pronounced judgement for Edom 

God told them hide yourself as you will be punished like Esau - God said I will uncover their sins and expose their concealing places - God said I will punish all those who deserve to be punished - I swear God declares - God said even if you live in clefts of rocks or top of mountains - i will bring you into open for punishment. Edom will become an object of horror for the world as no onw will dwell in it 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
