A Message About Babylon

¹⁸ Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:

“I will punish the king of Babylon and his land     as I punished the king of Assyria. ¹⁹ But I will bring Israel back to their own pasture,     and they will graze on Carmel and Bashan; their appetite will be satisfied     on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead. ²⁰ In those days, at that time,”     declares the Lord, “search will be made for Israel’s guilt,     but there will be none, and for the sins of Judah,     but none will be found,     for I will forgive the remnant I spare.

اِسرائیل کی واپسی

8اِس لِئے ربُّ الافواج اِسرائیل کا خُدا یُوں فرماتا ہے کہ دیکھ مَیں شاہِ بابل اور اُس کے مُلک کو سزا دُوں گا جِس طرح مَیں نے شاہِ اَسُور کو سزا دی ہے۔ 19لیکن مَیں اِسرائیل کو پِھر اُس کے مسکن میں لاؤُں گا اور وہ کرمِل اور بسن میں چرے گا اور اُس کی جان کوہِ اِفرائِیم اور جِلعاد پر آسُودہ ہو گی۔ 20خُداوند فرماتا ہے اُن دِنوں میں اور اُسی وقت اِسرائیل کی بدکرداری ڈُھونڈے نہ مِلے گی اور یہُوداؔہ کے گُناہوں کا پتہ نہ مِلے گا کیونکہ جِن کو مَیں باقی رکھُّوں گا اُن کو مُعاف کرُوں گا۔ 

My point of view about above verses

This is what Lord says about Babylon

Pronounce that Bayblon and its idols have been captured for destruction - All animals and humans will flee away 

However time will come when people of Isreal and Judah will return to God to bind in everlasting covenant with Him- God said my people became lost sheep because of the wrong done to them by their wicked shepherds - so their enemies crush them as they left their resting place - which is God 

Babylon will be attacked from the North - so people should run from there to escape their lives - Babylon will be destroyed and will not inhibit anything because of LORD'S anger

God will take avenge on Babylon - so do to her - what she did to you - as it is vengeance of the LORD

Israel will be crushed by king of Assyria and King of Babylon - Nebuchadnezzar 

as declared by the LORD - However God will bring back Israel and Judah and will forgive their sins 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
