 Jeremiah 50, verse 38-39

A Message About Babylon

³⁸ A drought on her waters!     They will dry up. For it is a land of idols,     idols that will go mad with terror.

³⁹ “So desert creatures and hyenas will live there,     and there the owl will dwell. It will never again be inhabited     or lived in from generation to generation.

بابل پر خُداوند کا غضب

38اُس کی نہروں پر خُشک سالی ہے۔ وہ سُوکھ جائیں گی

کیونکہ وہ تراشی ہُوئی مُورتوں کی مُملکت ہے اور

وہ بُتوں پرشیفتہ ہیں۔

39اِس لِئے دشتی درِندے گِیدڑوں کے ساتھ وہاں بسیں گے اور شُتر مُرغ اُس میں بسیرا کریں گے اور وہ پِھر ابد تک آباد نہ ہو گی۔ پُشت در پُشت کوئی اُس میں سکُونت نہ کرے گا۔

My point of view about above verses

This is what Lord says about Babylon

Pronounce that Bayblon and its idols have been captured for destruction - All animals and humans will flee away 

However time will come when people of Isreal and Judah will return to God to bind in everlasting covenant with Him- God said my people became lost sheep because of the wrong done to them by their wicked shepherds - so their enemies crush them as they left their resting place - which is God 

Babylon will be attacked from the North - so people should run from there to escape their lives - Babylon will be destroyed and will not inhibit anything because of LORD'S anger

God will take avenge on Babylon - so do to her - what she did to you - as it is vengeance of the LORD

Israel will be crushed by king of Assyria and King of Babylon - Nebuchadnezzar 

as declared by the LORD - However God will bring back Israel and Judah and will forgive their sins - 

Babylon will be desolate among nations-declares the LORD - who set a trap to capture it through the weapons of his wrath - He punished Babylon for destruction of his temple and her arrogance towards the holy-one of Israel - God said you will stumble because of your arrogance - and I will restore Isreal to bring rest into their land - and sword is on Babylonians to destroy them and it will not be inhabited again from generation to generation 

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
