Listen !!!! God speaks

 Ezekiel 3, verse 4-9

Ezekiel’s Call to Be a Prophet

 ⁴ He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them. ⁵ You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and strange language, but to the people of Israel— ⁶ not to many peoples of obscure speech and strange language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you. ⁷ But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

 But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are. ⁹ I will make your forehead like the hardest stone, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.”

4پِھر اُس نے مُجھے فرمایا اَے آدمؔ زاد تُو بنی اِسرائیل کے پاس جا اور میری یہ باتیں اُن سے کہہ۔ 5کیونکہ تُو ایسے لوگوں کی طرف نہیں بھیجا جاتا جِن کی زُبان بے گانہ اور جِن کی بولی سخت ہے بلکہ اِسرائیل کے خاندان کے طرف۔ 6نہ بُہت سی اُمّتوں کی طرف جِن کی زُبان بے گانہ اور جِن کی بولی سخت ہے۔ جِن کی بات تُو سمجھ نہیں سکتا۔ یقِیناً اگر مَیں تُجھے اُن کے پاس بھیجتا تو وہ تیری سُنتِیں۔ 7لیکن بنی اِسرائیل تیری بات نہ سُنیں گے کیونکہ وہ میری سُننا نہیں چاہتے کیونکہ سب بنی اِسرائیل سخت پیشانی اور سنگ دِل ہیں۔ 8دیکھ مَیں نے اُن کے چِہروں کے مُقابِل تیرا چِہرہ درُشت کِیا ہے اور تیری پیشانی اُن کی پیشانِیوں کے مُقابِل سخت کر دی ہے۔ 9مَیں نے تیری پیشانی کو ہِیرے کی مانِند چقماق سے بھی زِیادہ سخت کر دِیا ہے۔ اُن سے نہ ڈر اور اُن کے چِہروں سے ہِراسان نہ ہو اگرچہ وہ باغی خاندان ہیں۔ My point of view about above verses

God told Ezekiel go to people of Israel and speak my words to them – they are not who can’t understand you but they are reluctant as they did not listen to me so they will not listen to you as well- Don’t be afraid to them although they are rebellious people

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
