 Ezekiel 3, verse 18-19

  Ezekiel’s Task as Watchman

¹⁸ When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. ¹⁹ But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

18جب مَیں شرِیر سے کہُوں کہ تُو یقِیناً مَرے گا اور تُو اُسے آگاہ نہ کرے اور شرِیر سے نہ کہے کہ وہ اپنی بُری روِش سے خبردار ہو تاکہ وہ اُس سے باز آ کر اپنی جان بچائے تو وہ شرِیر اپنی شرارت میں مَرے گا لیکن مَیں اُس کے خُون کی بازپُرس تُجھ سے کرُوں گا۔ 19لیکن اگر تُو نے شرِیر کو آگاہ کر دِیا اور وہ اپنی شرارت اور اپنی بُری روِش سے باز نہ آیا تو وہ اپنی بدکرداری میں مَرے گا پر تُو نے اپنی جان کو بچا لِیا۔ 

My point of view about above verses

God said to me – son of man you are watchman for the people of Israel – so speak to them and warn them

God told Ezekiel if you speak to them and they do not listen then they will die because of their own guilt but if you do not warn them then you will be accountable for their guilt

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
