 Ezekiel 4, verse 1-5

  Siege of Jerusalem Symbolized

“Now, son of man, take a block of clay, put it in front of you and draw the city of Jerusalem on it. ² Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it. ³ Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the people of Israel.

⁴ “Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself.You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. ⁵ I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.

حِزقی ایل یروشلیِم کے محاصرہ کا عملی مُظاہِرہ کرتا ہے

1اور اَے آدمؔ زاد تُو ایک کھپرا لے اور اپنے سامنے رکھ کر اُس پر ایک شہر ہاں یروشلیِم ہی کی تصوِیر کھینچ۔ 2اور اُس کا مُحاصرہ کر اور اُس کے مُقابِل بُرج بنا اور اُس کے سامنے دمدمہ باندھ اور اُس کے گِرد خَیمے کھڑے کر اور اُس کی چاروں طرف منجنِیق لگا۔ 3پِھر تُو لوہے کا ایک توَا لے اور اپنے اور شہر کے درمِیان اُسے نصب کر کہ وہ لوہے کی دِیوار ٹھہرے اور تُو اپنا مُنہ اُس کے مُقابِل کر اور وہ مُحاصرہ کی حالت میں ہو اور تُو اُس کا مُحاصرہ کرنے والا ہو گا۔ یہ بنی اِسرائیل کے لِئے نِشان ہے۔

4پِھر تُو اپنی بائِیں کروٹ پر لیٹ رہ اور بنی اِسرائیل کی بدکرداری اِس پر رکھ دے۔ جِتنے دِنوں تک تُو لیٹا رہے گا تو اُن کی بدکرداری برداشت کرے گا۔ 5اور مَیں نے اُن کی بدکرداری کے برسوں کو اُن دِنوں کے شُمار کے مُطابِق جو تِین سَو نوّے دِن ہیں تُجھ پر رکھّا ہے سو تُو بنی اِسرائیل کی بدکرداری برداشت کرے گا

My point of view about above verses

God told Ezekiel about siege of Jerusalem

Then God told Ezekiel lie on your left side and put upon you the sins of Israel- the number of days you will lie on your left side will  be equal to number of years – so it is 390 days – so for 390 days you will bear the sins of people of Israel

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
