 Ezekiel 5, verse 14 - 17

  God’s Razor of Judgment

¹⁴ “I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by. ¹⁵ You will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror to the nations around you when I inflict punishment on you in anger and in wrath and with stinging rebuke. I the Lord have spoken. ¹⁶ When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food. ¹⁷ I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I the Lord have spoken.”

 14اِس کے سِوا مَیں تُجھ کو اُن قَوموں کے درمِیان جو تیرے آس پاس ہیں اور اُن سب کی نِگاہوں میں جو اُدھر سے گُذر کریں گے وِیران و باعِث ملامت بناؤُں گا۔

15پس جب مَیں قہر و غضب اور سخت ملامت سے تیرے درمِیان عدالت کرُوں گا تو تُو اپنے آس پاس کی اقوام کے لِئے جایِ ملامت و اِہانت اور مقامِ عِبرت و حَیرت ہو گی۔ مَیں خُداوند نے یہ فرمایا ہے۔ 16یعنی جب مَیں سخت قحط کے تِیر جو اُن کی ہلاکت کے لِئے ہیں اُن کی طرف راونہ کرُوں گا جِن کو مَیں تُمہارے ہلاک کرنے کے لِئے چلاؤُں گا اور مَیں تُم میں قحط کو زِیادہ کرُوں گا اور تُمہاری روٹی کے عصا کو توڑ ڈالُوں گا۔ 17اور مَیں تُم میں قحط اور بُرے درِندے بھیجُوں گا اور وہ تُجھے لاولد کریں گے اور مَری اور خُون ریزی تیرے درمِیان آئے گی اور مَیں تلوار تُجھ پر لاؤُں گا۔ مَیں خُداوند ہی نے فرمایا ہے۔

 My point of view about above verses

God said I will make People of Jerusalem an object of horror to nations around you, I will use weapons of plague and famine against you – I will leave you childless –plague and bloodshed will sweep through you and I will bring sword against you

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
