Leviticus 18 verse 29-30
29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”
My point of view about above verses
God wants us to observe his laws and decree which he has given through his prophets time to time - These all laws are for benefit of humans if they understand - If we do something against God's laws - He will dis- own us and we will no more belong to God's tribe- if we want to walk with God - we are required not only to listen to him but follow his all laws and decrees
God does not want to make ourselves impure / unclean as God is holy and does not want us to do any such practices which are against his sacred principles he gave us, to lead our life on earth.
God wants his people to obey all his laws and decrees to have a blissful life on earth -
God bless all who are obeying His commandments
