Leviticus 19 verse 3
3 “‘Each of you must respect your mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to tell Israelite to respect their parents
Parents who bring us on this earth by God's grace - so God want us to be respectful to them - Don't shout at them even if they do something which is irritating - Its God orders to be respectful to them and we have no option but to just obey - We should think that how they take care of us when we were small, can't move, can't eat, can't walk and even can't talk - how they taught us all these things with lot of affection and love - So its like a loan on us - which each conscious person has to pay back and above all this its God's order
God also want us to take rest on Sabbaths - work for 6 days and on 7th day take rest - God commanded this for the sake of our own good - we have to observe Sabbaths as God wants us to take care of ourselves also
May God inclined us to read word of God on daily basis & help us to obey Him in its true spirit
God wants his people to obey all his laws and decrees to have a blissful life on earth
