Leviticus 19 verse 4
4 “‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to tell Israelite to not make any metal gods
In that period of time people of different nations used to make gods from different metals like gold and silver - Even Israelite did the same in wilderness - when Moses went to see God on mount Sinai - They persuaded Aaron to make a god for them from gold
God became angry when he saw this and told Moses i will not walk with Israelite anymore as they dishonor me by worshiping a god made by metal
God strictly prohibits to turn to any idols or make any one our God - as God is our Lord - for all our matters we have to look into Him - He knows exactly what we need & How he fulfills our requirements - We need to trust Him wholeheartedly
May God inclined us to read word of God on daily basis & help us to obey Him in its true spirit
God wants his people to obey all his laws and decrees to have a blissful life on earth
God bless all who are obeying His commandments
