Leviticus 19 verse 15 & 16
15 “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
16 “‘Do not go about spreading slander among your people.
“‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord
My point of view about above verse
If God put you on position of authority or make you judge your people - you are not supposed to take sides but just decide the matters on merit only - As God is just and He wants his people to spend their lives on principle of justice - You are not supposed to change decision whether a person before you is rich or poor or your neighbor- Justice should prevail in all your decisions - its God who gives you this highest position so you have to exercise this given authority as per God's laws
You are not spread false statements about any-one among your people to defame him / her - You just decide justly -
In your house or surrounding where you are living don't put something which put someone especially your neighbor's life at risk - So God's want us to take our decisions in such a way that it does not effect other people badly- e.g. if you put some stone on your roof and it fells and someones hurt - so it means you are creating risks for others - we have to avoid such things - You consider yourself a mere man - I am the Lord
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our life the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all who are obeying His commandments
