Leviticus 19 verse 23 - 25
23 “‘When you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard its fruit as forbidden. For three years you are to consider it forbidden; it must not be eaten. 24 In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord. 25 But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.
My point of view about above verses
God is sovereign Lord and wants his highest level of creation (means human beings) to keep his laws for their own well -being
God told Israelite that when you entered the promised land and plant any kind of fruit tree – you should not eat its fruit for three years – in fourth year all its fruit will be holy and must be offered to Lord as offering of praise but in fifth year you may eat its fruit – in this way your harvest will be increased
God is telling the way how he will bless our harvest
I am the Lord
May God help us to understand when God says I am the Lord and whatever we do on earth is by his given authority - & we are not supposed to misuse it in our relationships with fellow human beings - You consider yourself a mere man - I am the Lord
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our life the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all who are obeying His commandments
