Leviticus 19 verse 29-30
29 “‘Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness
30 “‘Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
My point of view about above verses
God is sovereign Lord and wants his highest level of creation (means human beings) to keep his laws for their own well -being
Raising your children is a responsibility - especially daughters - Prostitution is considered as world oldest profession - its involves sexual activities against payment of money - So God told don't treat you daughters badly by making them prostitutes - otherwise land where you are living will be filled with wickedness (evil)
God want us to respect his Sabbaths and place of worship - He used the word my - so it means Sabbaths and place of worship belongs to him - we need to respect both to get God's grace in our lives - while entering to churches we should know that God is present there and how we have to enter that place and respect God almighty
I am the Lord
May God help us to understand when God says I am the Lord and whatever we do on earth is by his given authority - & we are not supposed to misuse it in our relationships with fellow human beings - You consider yourself a mere man - I am the Lord
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our lives the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
