Leviticus 20 verse 14-16
Punishments for Sin
14 “‘If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must be burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you.
15 “‘If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he is to be put to death, and you must kill the animal.
16 “‘If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
My point of view about above verses
God is telling the importance of relations and relatives in our lives - & how we should behave towards them - He says a man can't marry a mother and daughter both - its a bad thing if a person does so he and the women should be burned in fire and men or woman should not approach animals to have sexual relations if they do so such people plus animal should be killed.
Our God is so mindful and telling us to eliminate the wickedness that originates because of immoral deeds -
God told for severe punishments as He wants that the wickedness should eliminate and society should flourish on holiness
If we concentrate on word of God we can understand that all such laws are for the benefit of humans - to observe such rules mean live a life worthy to God and his kingdom
He wants us to observe all his commandments - otherwise get ready for punishment -
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our lives the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
