Leviticus 23 verse 22
The Appointed Festivals
The Festival of Weeks
22 “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.’”
My point of view about above verses
God wants his people to be generous and kind towards poor as He himself is kind towards his creations - So he said when you harvest your fields do not collect each and every grain but left some thing for strangers and poor - so that they work on these field and get their living
This is the command given by God to Israelite when they were in mount Sinai - So he told them how to live their life when they reach the appointed land - As he is the Lord and they and we need to obey him to live blissfully on this earth
God wants his people to remember what bigger things he has done for them and celebrate these events as gratitude to Him - And also offer him thanks giving for his blessings and be kind to strangers and poor in their land
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do-
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our lives the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
