Leviticus 24 verse 1-4
Olive Oil and Bread Set Before the Lord
The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually. 3 Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. 4 The lamps on the pure gold lamp stand before the Lord must be tended continually.
(1)اور خُداوند نے مُوسیٰ سے کہا۔
(2)بنی اِسرائیل کو حُکم کر کہ وہ تیرے پاس زَیتُون کا کُوٹ کر نِکالا ہُؤا خالِص تیل رَوشنی کے لِئے لائیں تاکہ چراغ ہمیشہ جلتا رہے۔
(3)ہارُون اُسے شہادت کے پردہ کے باہر خَیمۂِ اِجتماع میں شام سے صُبح تک خُداوند کے حضُور قرِینہ سے رکھّا کرے ۔ تُمہاری نسل در نسل سدا یِہی آئِین رہے گا۔
(4)وہ ہمیشہ اُن چراغوں کو ترتِیب سے پاک شمعدان پر خُداوند کے حضُور رکھّا کرے
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to tell Aaron (the priest) to tell Israelite to bring olive oil so that the lamps on the gold stand before the ark of the covenant keep burning to give light from evening till morning - Its a duty of priest and Israelite to keep the tabernacle in light for appointed time told by God
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as there is
rejoicing in obeying Him
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our lives the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
