Leviticus 25 verse 32-34
32 “‘The Levites always have the right to redeem their houses in the Leviticus towns, which they possess. 33 So the property of the Levites is redeemable—that is, a house sold in any town they hold—and is to be returned in the Jubilee, because the houses in the towns of the Levites are their property among the Israelites. 34 But the pastureland belonging to their towns must not be sold; it is their permanent possession.
(32)تَو بھی لاوِیوں کے جو شہر ہیں لاوی اپنی مِلکِیّت کے شہروں کے مکانوں کو چاہے کِسی وقت چُھڑا لیں۔
(33)اور اگر کوئی دُوسرا لاوی اُن کو چُھڑا لے تو وہ مکان جو بیچا گیا اور اُس کی مِلکِیّت کا شہر دونوں سالِ یوبلی میں چُھوٹ جائیں کیونکہ جو مکان لاوِیوں کے شہروں میں ہیں وُہی بنی اِسرائیل کے درمِیان لاوِیوں کی مِلکِیّت ہیں۔
(34)پر اُن کے شہروں کی نواحی کے کھیت نہیں بِک سکتے کیونکہ وہ اُن کی دائِمی مِلکِیّت ہیں
My point of view about above verses
God told Israelite that land belongs to him and it should not be sold permanently- it can be leased only - He tells them that I let you live in this land as strangers and foreigners and you need to pay the price for it
However rules are different for Levites - a tribe of Israel who manage affairs of temple and also perform duties towards God- Moses & Aaron were from this tribe - so God told that priests and their assistants who will take care of temple will be from this tribe
So if any one purchase property of a Levites whether its in city or village can be redeemed and it has to be returned to Levites in Jubilee year (an year fall after 49th year when land has enjoyed its 7th sabbath; each year after 6th year for seven times)
Look how God compensate people who work for his temple - God is merciful and all wise Lord - He knows how to deal mankind to get best out of them for themselves and for others
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply in our lives
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as it is in our advantage in the long run
