Leviticus 25 verse 35-38
35 “‘If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you. 36 Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that they may continue to live among you. 37 You must not lend them money at interest or sell them food at a profit. 38 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
My point of view about above verses
God told Israelite that if one of your brethren becomes poor - You need to help him - Do not take any interest if you lend some money to your poor brother or even do not ask for profit - As i am your God and showed you mercy and kindness to get you out of Egypt to give Canaan as your country - You also need to show mercy and kindness to your brethren if they becomes poor
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply in our lives
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as it is in our advantage in the long run
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
