Leviticus 26 verse 6-13
Reward for Obedience
6 “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. 7 You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. 8 Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you
9 “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. 10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. 11 I will put my dwelling place[among you, and I will not abhor you. 12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. 13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
(6)اور مَیں مُلک میں امن بخشُوں گا اور تُم سوؤ گے اور تُم کو کوئی نہیں ڈرائے گا اور مَیں بُرے درِندوں کو مُلک سے نیست کر دُوں گا اور تلوار تُمہارے مُلک میں نہیں چلے گی۔
(7)اور تُم اپنے دُشمنوں کا پِیچھا کرو گے اور وہ تُمہارے آگے آگے تلوار سے مارے جائیں گے۔
(8)اور تُمہارے پانچ آدمی سَو کو رگیدیں گے اور تُمہارے سَو آدمی دس ہزار کو کھدیڑ دیں گے اور تُمہارے دُشمن تلوار سے تُمہارے آگے آگے مارے جائیں گے۔
(9)اور مَیں تُم پر نظرِ عِنایت رکھّوں گا اور تُم کو برومند کرُوں گا اور بڑھاؤُں گا اور جو میرا عہد تُمہارے ساتھ ہے اُسے پُورا کرُوں گا۔
(10)اور تُم عرصہ کا ذخِیرہ کِیا ہُؤا پُرانا اناج کھاؤ گے اور نئے کے سبب سے پُرانے کو نِکال باہر کرو گے۔
(11)اور مَیں اپنا مسکن تُمہارے درمِیان قائِم رکھُّوں گااور میری رُوح تُم سے نفرت نہ کرے گی۔
(12)اور مَیں تُمہارے درمِیا ن چلا پِھرا کرُوں گا اور تُمہارا خُدا ہُوں گا اور تُم میری قَوم ہو گے۔
(13)مَیں خُداوند تُمہارا خُدا ہُوں جو تُم کو مُلکِ مِصر سے اِسی لِئے نِکال کر لے آیا کہ تُم اُن کے غُلام نہ بنے رہو اور مَیں نے تُمہارے جُوئے کی چوبیں توڑ ڈالی ہیں اور تُم کو سِیدھا کھڑا کر کے چلایا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Israelite that if they obey him they will be blessed by peaceful nights, no wild beasts in their place, no wars - & if there is a war their 100 people will be enough to defeat 10,000. Their number will increase and they will enjoy the last harvest till the new harvest - There is abundance of food and peace in their place of living
And in the end he also tells them that if you listen to me and obey me - I will reside among you and walk with you - & i will be your God & you will be my people
What a blessing it is - that creator is revealing himself to his creation - So lets obey Him to get the blessings which he promised for obedience
Look what blessings God is giving to people if they live life as per his commandments - peace and abundance - what else a person need - People should start obeying God to have a prosperous earthly life
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply in our lives
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as it is in our advantage in the long run
