Numbers 9 ; verse 6-13
The Passover
6 But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body. So they came to Moses and Aaron that same day 7 and said to Moses, “We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”
8 Moses answered them, “Wait until I find out what the Lord commands concerning you.”
9 Then the Lord said to Moses, 10 “Tell the Israelites: ‘When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they are still to celebrate the Lord’s Passover, 11 but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12 They must not leave any of it till morning or break any of its bones. When they celebrate the Passover, they must follow all the regulations. 13 But if anyone who is ceremonially clean and not on a journey fails to celebrate the Passover, they must be cut off from their people for not presenting the Lord’s offering at the appointed time. They will bear the consequences of their sin.
(6)اور کئی آدمی اَیسے تھے جو کِسی لاش کے سبب سے ناپاک ہو گئے تھے ۔ وہ اُس روز فَسح نہ کر سکے ۔ سو وہ اُسی دِن مُوسیٰ اور ہارُون کے پاس آئے۔
(7)اور مُوسیٰ سے کہنے لگے ہم ایک لاش کے سبب سے ناپاک ہو رہے ہیں ۔ پِھر بھی ہم اَور اِسرائیلِیوں کے ساتھ وقتِ مُعیّن پر خُداوند کی قُربانی گُذراننے سے کیوں روکے جائیں؟۔
(8)مُوسیٰ نے اُن سے کہا ٹھہر جاؤ ۔ مَیں ذرا سُن لُوں کہ خُداوند تُمہارے حق میں کِیا حُکم کرتا ہے۔
(9)اور خُداوند نے مُوسیٰ سے کہا۔
(10)بنی اِسرائیل سے کہہ کہ اگر کوئی تُم میں سے یا تُمہاری نسل میں سے کِسی لاش کے سبب سے ناپاک ہو جائے یا وہ کہِیں دُور سفر میں ہو تَو بھی وہ خُداوند کے لِئے عِیدِ فَسح کرے۔
(11)وہ دُوسرے مہِینے کی چَودھویں تارِیخ کی شام کو یہ عِیدِ منائیں اور قُربانی کے گوشت کو بے خمِیری روٹیوں اور کڑوی ترکارِیوں کے ساتھ کھائیں۔
(12)وہ اُس میں سے کُچھ بھی صُبح کے لِئے باقی نہ چھوڑیں اور نہ اُس کی کوئی ہڈّی توڑیں اور فَسح کو اُس کے سارے آئِین کے مُطابِق مانیں۔
(13)لیکن جو آدمی پاک ہو اور سفر میں بھی نہ ہو اگر وہ فَسح کرنے سے باز رہے تو وہ آدمی اپنی قَوم میں سے کاٹ ڈالا جائے گا کیونکہ اُس نے مُعیّن وقت پر خُداوند کی قُربانی نہیں گُذرانی ۔ سو اُس آدمی کا گُناہ اُسی کے سر لگے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to tell Israelites to celebrate Passover (a festival to remember that God used Moses to free Israelites from slavery in Egypt) in wilderness and it need to be celebrated at appointed time and as per rules and regulations - It must be celebrated wherever you are. Israelites celebrated Passover on 14th day of first Month as per commandment given by God to Moses God told Moses if anybody is unclean or on journey they can celebrate Passover on the 14th day of second month at twilight. They are to eat lamb together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. They must not leave any of it till morning or break any of its bones, but if a person who is clean and not on a journey and fails to celebrate the Passover must be cut off from their people and they will bear the consequences
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
