Numbers 16 ; verse 36-40
Korah, Dathan and Abiram
36 The Lord said to Moses, 37 “Tell Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, to remove the censers from the charred remains and scatter the coals some distance away, for the censers are holy— 38 the censers of the men who sinned at the cost of their lives. Hammer the censers into sheets to overlay the altar, for they were presented before the Lord and have become holy. Let them be a sign to the Israelites.”
39 So Eleazar the priest collected the bronze censers brought by those who had been burned to death, and he had them hammered out to overlay the altar, 40 as the Lord directed him through Moses. This was to remind the Israelites that no one except a descendant of Aaron should come to burn incense before the Lord, or he would become like Korah and his followers.
36 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے کہا ، “ 37-38 ہا رون کے بیٹے کا ہن الیعزر سے کہو وہ آ گ میں سے بخور کے برتن کو لے لے خیمہ سے دور کے علا قے میں اُن کوئلوں کو پھیلا ئے۔ بخور کے برتن اب بھی پاک ہیں۔ یہ وہ برتن ہیں جو اُن آدمیوں کے ہیں جنہوں نے میرے خلا ف گنا ہ کیا تھا۔ ان کے گناہ کی قیمت ان کی زندگی ہو ئی۔ برتنوں کو پیٹ کر پتروں میں بدلو۔ ان دھا توں کے پتروں کا استعمال قربا ن گا ہ کو ڈھکنے کے لئے کرو۔ وہ پاک تھے کیوں کہ انہیں خداوند کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا تھا۔ اُن چپٹے برتنوں کو سبھی بنی اسرائیلیوں کے لئے عبرت بننے دو۔”
39 تب کا ہن الیعزر نے کانسے کے ان تمام برتنوں کو جمع کیا جنہیں وہ لوگ لا ئے تھے۔ وہ سبھی آدمی جل گئے تھے لیکن برتن وہاں بچے ہو ئے تھے۔ تب الیعزر نے کچھ آدمیوں کو برتنوں کو پیٹ کر چپٹا کرنے کے لئے کہا۔ تب اس نے پیٹے ہو ئے دھا ت کی اس چپٹی چادر کو قربانگا ہ پر رکھا۔ 40 اس نے اسے ویسے ہی کیا جیسا خداوندنے موسیٰ کے ذریعہ حکم دیا تھا۔ یہ نشانی تھی جس سے بنی اسرا ئیل یاد رکھ سکیں کہ صرف ہا رون کے خاندان کے آدمی کو خداوند کے سامنے بخور نذر کرنے کا حق ہے۔ اگر کو ئی دوسرے آدمی خداوند کے سامنے خوشبو جلا تا ہے تو وہ آدمی قورح اور اس کے ساتھیوں کی طرح ہو جا ئے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses tell Israelites to
stay away from tents of Korah, Dathan and Abiram - as they are comparing themselves with Aaron Moses and their families and telling that all Israelites are holy and can work for tabernacle - But God got angry with them and want to punish them - so earth opened up where the tents of those men are and swallowed them up with their household and belongings and other people became frightened-
The priest Aaron' son Eleazar has overlay the altar with hammered censers as God directed him through Moses to remind the Israelites that no one except the descendant of Aaron should come to burn incense before the Lord, or he would become like Korah and his followers
So when God selects some person to do certain duties - nobody has to interfere as He KNOWS what he is doing
We only trust that whatever commandments He gave, is for our benefit so that we can reach to full potential of LIFE in us
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
