Numbers 16 ; verse 46-50

46 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer and put incense in it, along with burning coals from the altar, and hurry to the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the Lord; the plague has started.” 47 So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. 48 He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague stopped. 49 But 14,700 people died from the plague, in addition to those who had died because of Korah. 50 Then Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance to the tent of meeting, for the plague had stopped.

46 تب موسیٰ نے ہا رون سے کہا ، “بخور دان لے اور قربان گاہ سے کو ئلے کی آ گ لیکر اس میں ڈال۔ پھر اس میں بخور ڈا لو اور لوگوں کے گروہ کے پاس جلدی جا ؤ۔ اور ان لوگوں کے لئے کفارہ ادا کرو۔ کیونکہ خداوند ان پر غصّہ میں ہے۔ بیما ری شروع ہو چکی ہے۔”

47 اس لئے ہا رون نے موسیٰ کے کہنے کے مطا بق کام کیا۔ خوشبو اور آ گ کو لینے کے بعد وہ لوگوں کے بیچ دوڑ کر پہونچا لیکن لوگوں میں بیما ری پہلے ہی شروع ہو چکی تھی۔ ہا رون نے لوگوں کے کفارہ کیلئے بخور کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ 48 ہا رون مرے ہو ئے اور زندوں کے بیچ میں کھڑا ہوا اور پھر بیما ری رُک گئی۔ 49 اس لئے ۷۰۰ ،۱۴ لوگ اس بیما ری کی وجہ سے مر گئے۔یہ سب لوگ قورح کے سبب سے مرنے والوں کے علاوہ تھے۔ 50 تب ہارون خیمہٴ اجتماع کے درواز ہ پر موسیٰ کے پاس آئے تو لوگوں کی بھیانک بیماری روک دی گئی۔

My point of view about above verses

When all Israelites assembled together to grumble against Moses and Aaron about killing of 250 people and Korah and his followers then God told Moses and Aaron to be away from these people so that I can finish them once - & 14700 people died because of plague, then Priest made atonement for people and plague stopped

So when God selects some persons to do certain duties - and inform us through his priests / prophets - we need to accept that as its always for our good

Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
