Numbers 18 ; verse 8-10
Offerings for Priests and Levites
8 Then the Lord said to Aaron, “I myself have put you in charge of the offerings presented to me; all the holy offerings the Israelites give me I give to you and your sons as your portion, your perpetual share. 9 You are to have the part of the most holy offerings that is kept from the fire. From all the gifts they bring me as most holy offerings, whether grain or sin or guilt offerings, that part belongs to you and your sons. 10 Eat it as something most holy; every male shall eat it. You must regard it as holy.
8 تب خدا وند نے ہارون سے کہا ، “ میں نے اپنے لئے پیش کئے گئے نذرانوں کی ذمہ داری تم کو دی ہے۔ بنی اسرائیل جو تمام نذریں مجھ کو دیں گے وہ میں تم کو دیتا ہوں۔ تم اور تمہارے بیٹے اُن نذروں کو آپس میں بانٹ سکتے ہو۔یہ ہمیشہ تمہاری ہوگی۔ 9 اُن تمام نذرانوں میں سب سے مقدس نذرانہ میں تمہارا اپنا حصّہ ہوگا جو جلایا نہیں گیا ہے۔ لوگ میرے پاس ایسا نذرانہ لا تے ہیں جو ہمیشہ مقدّس ہے۔ یہ نذرانے اناج کا نذرانہ ، جرم کا نذرانہ اور گناہ کا نذرانہ ہو سکتا ہے۔ یہ سب چیزیں تمہارے اور تمہارے بیٹوں کے لئے سب سے زیادہ مقدّس ہوں گی۔ 10 تمہیں ان سب چیزوں کو مقدّس جگہ میں کھا نا چاہئے۔ تمہارے خاندان کا ہر آدمی ان چیزوں کو کھا ئیگا۔ تمہیں ان چیزوں کو سب سے زیادہ مقدس ماننا چاہئے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Aaron that what people of Israelites offer me as grain or sin or guilt offerings as per law, you are in charge of those – I give to you and your sons as your share – every male of your family eat it – and regard it as most holy.
So offerings belong to Priests and his sons - we need to obey God
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
