Exodus 4
24 At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses[b] and was about to kill him. 25 But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it.[c] “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said. 26 So the Lord let him alone. (At that time she said “bridegroom of blood,” referring to circumcision.)
My thoughts about above verses
God want us to fulfill the covenant on our part – as He asked Abraham that every male stays in house of Israelite has to go through circumcision when he is eight days old. If some one does not fulfill promise God may kill him. As God tried to kill Moses but Moses wife circumcision their son
