Deuteronomy 21 ; verse 10-14
Marrying a Captive Woman
10 When you go to war against your enemies and the Lord your God delivers them into your hands and you take captives, 11 if you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife. 12 Bring her into your home and have her shave her head, trim her nails 13 and put aside the clothes she was wearing when captured. After she has lived in your house and mourned her father and mother for a full month, then you may go to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. 14 If you are not pleased with her, let her go wherever she wishes. You must not sell her or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her.
جنگ میں اسیر شدہ عورتیں
10 “تم اپنے دشمنوں سے جنگ کرو گے اور خداوند تمہا را خدا انہیں تم سے شکست دلوا ئے گا تب تم دشمنوں کو قیدیوں کی طرح لا ؤ گے۔ 11 اور تم جنگ میں اسیر شدہ کسی خوبصورت عورت کو دیکھ سکتے ہو تم اسے پانا چاہ سکتے ہو اور اپنی بیوی کے طو ر پر رکھنے کی خواہش کر سکتے ہو۔ 12 تمہیں اسے اپنے خاندان میں اپنے گھر لانا چا ہئے۔اسے اپنے بال منڈوا نے چا ہئے اور اپنے نا خن کاٹنے چا ہئے۔ 13 اسے اپنے پہنے ہو ئے ان کپڑو ں کو جب وہ قیدی تھی اُتارنا چا ہئے اسے تمہا رے گھر میں رہنا چا ہئے۔ اور ایک مہینے تک اپنے ماں باپ کے لئے رو نا چا ہئے۔ تب تم اس کے ساتھ اس کے شوہر کی طرح رہ سکتے ہو اور تمہا ری بیوی بن جا ئے گی۔ 14 لیکن اگر تم اس سے خوش نہیں ہو تو تم اسے جہاں وہ چا ہے جانے دے سکتے ہو لیکن تم اسے بیچ نہیں سکتے تم اس کے ساتھ کنیز کی طرح سلوک نہیں کر سکتے کیوں؟ کیوں کہ تمہا را اس کے ساتھ جنسی تعلق تھا۔
My point of view about above verses
If you are attracted to a woman from captives during war you may take her as your wife – but first she has to shave her head, trim off her nails and put out the clothes she is wearing when captured – then she can stay in your house but she has to mourn one month for her father and mother and then you can take her as your wife – but later if you are not pleased with her let her go where she want to go but don’t treat her as your slave as you dishonored her
These verses shows how God protect the rights of captives women
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
