Deuteronomy 22 ; verse 28-29
30 A man is not to marry his father’s wife; he must not dishonor his father’s bed.
30 “کسی آدمی کو اپنے باپ کی بیوی کے ساتھ جسمانی تعلق قائم کرکے اپنے باپ پر بدنامی کا دھّبہ نہیں لگانا چا ہئے۔”
My point of view about above verses
A man must not marry his father’s wife and must not dishonor his father’s bed
Father's wife is like a mother to you, even if she did not give you birth but you need to treat her as your mother and respect her
God wants us to do / judge things as per law described by Him so that everything goes well with us - If we do something wrong then punishments should be there to eliminate evils completely from our societies / communities - These are the laws given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
