Deuteronomy 23 ; verse 7-8
Exclusion From the Assembly
7 Do not despise an Edomite, for the Edomites are related to you. Do not despise an Egyptian, because you resided as foreigners in their country. 8 The third generation of children born to them may enter the assembly of the Lord.
وہ لوگ جنہیں اسرا ئیلیوں کو قبول کرنا چا ہئے
7 “تمہیں ادومی سے نفرت نہیں کرنی چا ہئے۔کیوں؟ کیوں کہ وہ تمہا را رشتہ دار ہے تمہیں کسی مصری سے نفرت نہیں کرنی چا ہئے ؟ کیوں کہ اُن کے ملک میں تم اجنبی تھے۔ 8 ادومی اور مصری لوگوں سے پیدا ہو ئے تیسری نسل کے بچے جو تمہا رے بیچ رہے خداوند کے لوگوں کی جماعت میں شامل ہو سکتے ہیں۔
My point of view about above verses
Don’t hate Edomite as they are your relatives and don’t hate Egyptian because you reside as foreigners in their country – The third generation of children born to them may enter the assembly of Lord
God wants us to be kind to our relatives and to people of countries where we reside as foreigners -
This is our God - so we should behave
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
