Deuteronomy 30 ; verse 1-10
Prosperity After Turning to the Lord
When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the Lord your God disperses you among the nations, 2 and when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, 3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back. 5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors. 6 The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. 7 The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you. 8 You will again obey the Lord and follow all his commands I am giving you today. 9 Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors, 10 if you obey the Lord your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
اسرائیلیوں کا اپنی زمین پر واپسی
30 “یہ تمام چیزیں جو میں کہہ چکا ہوں تمہا رے ساتھ ہو ئیں۔ تمہیں دعاؤں سے اچھی چیزیں ملیں گی اور بددعاؤں سے خراب چیزیں۔ خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہیں دوسری قوموں کے پاس بھیجے گا تب تم اُن چیزوں کے متعلق سوچوگے۔ 2 اُس وقت تم اور تمہا ری نسلیں خداوندتمہا رے خدا کی طرف لو ٹ آئیں گی۔ تم اس وقت اپنے پور ے دل سے اس کی بات مانو گے اورملکمل طور پر اس کے تمام احکاما ت کی اطاعت کرو گے۔ جو میں نے تمہیں آج دیئے ہیں۔ 3 تب خداوند تمہا را خدا تم پر مہربان ہو گا۔ خداوند تمہیں دو بارہ آ زا د کرے گا۔ وہ پھر تمہیں ایک ساتھ سبھی قوموں میں سے جہاں اس نے تمہیں بکھیر دیا تھا جمع کرے گا۔
4 اگر چہ کہ اس نے تمہیں زمین کے دور دراز حصّوں میں ہی کیو ں نہ بھیجا ہو خداوند تمہا را خدا تم کو اکٹھا کرے گا اور وہاں سے واپس لا ئے گا۔ 5 خداوند ہما رے خدا تم کو تمہارے آبا ؤاجداد کی زمین پر لا ئے گا اور وہ زمین تمہا ری ہو گی۔ خداوند تمہا رے ساتھ اچھا کرے گا اور تمہا رے پاس تمہا رے آبا ؤاجداد سے زیادہ ہو گا۔ تمہا ری قوم میں زیادہ لوگ ہوں گے جتنا کہ اس سے پہلے کبھی نہیں تھے۔ 6 خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہا رے دل کا ختنہ کرے گا۔ [a] تب تم خداوند اپنے خدا سے دل و جان سے محبت کرو گے تا کہ تم جیتے رہو۔
7 “تب خداوند تمہا را خدا اُن تمام لعنتوں کو تمہا رے دشمنوں کے ساتھ ہو نے دیگا۔ کیوں کہ وہ لوگ تم سے نفرت کرتے ہیں اور تمہیں تکلیفیں دیتے ہیں۔ 8 اور تم دوبارہ خداوند کی فرماں برداری کرو گے۔ تم اس کے تمام احکام کی تعمیل کرو گے جو آج میں نے تمہیں دیئے۔ 9 خداوند تمہا را خدا تم کو ہر اس چیز میں کامیاب کرے گا جو تم کرو گے۔ وہ تمہیں کئی بچوں کے ساتھ برکت دے گا۔ وہ تمہا ری گا ئیوں میں برکت دے گا۔ ان کے کئی بچھڑے ہوں گے۔ وہ تمہا رے کھیتوں میں برکت دے گا اُس میں اچھی فصلیں ہو ں گی۔ خداوند تمہا رے ساتھ پھرسے خوش ہو گا اور وہ تمہا رے ساتھ اچھا ئی کرے گا جیسا کہ اس نے تمہا رے آباؤاجداد کے ساتھ کیا تھا۔
10 لیکن تم کو وہ چیزیں کرنی چا ہئے جو خداوند تمہا را خدا کرنے کو کہتا ہے۔ تمہیں اس کے احکام کو ماننا ہو گا اور اس کے قانون پر چلنا ہو گا جو اس تعلیما ت کی کتاب میں لکھے ہیں۔تمہیں خداوند اپنے خدا کی طرف پو رے دل وجان سے لوٹنا چا ہئے۔ تب یہ تمام اچھی چیزیں تمہا رے ساتھ ہوں گی۔
My point of view about above verses
When God brought all these curses on you and if you repent and turn to Lord – he will bring you back from all distant countries to your own land - & you will be more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors- I will circumcise heart and soul of you and your descendants so that you may love your God with all your heart and soul and live. Your God will put all these curses on your enemies only you have to turn and obey your God with all your heart and soul
Our God is God who fulfills His promises even with our generations to follow, so lets teach our children to live as God wants us to live as ultimately its for our benefit - Our God is faithful God, He remains faithful if we continue obeying Him
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
