Deuteronomy 31 ; verse 24 - 29
24 After Moses finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end, 25 he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord: 26 “Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God. There it will remain as a witness against you. 27 For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the Lord while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! 28 Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials, so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call the heavens and the earth to testify against them. 29 For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what your hands have made.”
موسیٰ کا بنی اسرائیلیوں کو انتباہ کرنا
24 موسیٰ نے یہ سارے اُصول ایک کتاب میں لکھے جب اس نے اسے پو را کر لیا تو۔ 25 اس نے لا وی نسلوں کو حکم دیا ( یہ لوگ خداوندکے معاہدہ کے صندوق کی دیکھ بھال کرتے تھے۔) موسیٰ نے کہا۔ 26 “اس تعلیمات کی کتاب کولو اور خداوند اپنے خدا کے معاہدہ کے صندوق کے بازو میں رکھو تب یہ وہاں تمہا رے خلا ف گواہ ہو گی۔ 27 میں جانتا ہوں تم بہت ضدّی ہو میں جانتاہوں تم باغی ہو۔ دیکھو تم نے خداوند کی فرمانبرداری کرنے سے انکار کر گئے جبکہ میں ابھی تک تمہا رے ساتھ ہو ں۔ میں جانتا ہوں کہ میری موت کے بعد بھی تم خداوند کے فرمانبرداری سے انکار کرو گے
8 اپنے سبھی خاندانی گروہ قائدین اور عہدیداروں کو ایک ساتھ بُلا ؤ۔ میں انہیں یہ سب کچھ بتا ؤں گا اور میں زمین اور آسمان کو اُن کے خلا ف گواہ ہو نے کیلئے بلا ؤں گا۔ 29 میں جانتا ہوں کہ میری موت کے بعد تم بُرے لوگ ہو جا ؤ گے تم اس راستے سے ہٹ جاؤ گے جس پر چلنے کا حکم میں نے دیا ہے۔ مستقبل میں تم پر آفتیں آئیں گی کیوں؟ کیوں کہ تم وہ کرنا چاہتے ہو جسے خداوند بُرا بتا تا ہے۔ تم اسے ان کاموں کے کرنے کی وجہ سے اسے غصّہ میں لا ؤ گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses you shall not cross the Jordan – Joshua will lead Israelites
However Moses told Isralites that you are rebilious people and turn away from God after my death, and God anger will arouse against you for the works of your hand
Our God is God who asks us to obey Him and in turn get His blessings otherwise disaster for us
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
