Deuteronomy Chapter 32 Verse 1 till 47
Moses to Die on Mount Nebo
48 On that same day the Lord told Moses, 49 “Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho, and view Canaan, the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. 50 There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people. 51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. 52 Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance; you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”
موسیٰ نبو پہا ڑ پر
48 خداوند نے اسی دن موسیٰ سے کہا خداوند نے کہا ، 49 “عباریم پہاڑ پر جا ؤ یریحو شہر سے ہو کر موآب کی سر زمین میں نبو پہا ڑ پر جا ؤ تب تم اس کنعان کی سر زمین کو دیکھ سکتے ہو جسے میں بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کو رہنے کے لئے دے رہا ہوں۔ 50 تم اس پہا ڑ پر مرو گے۔ تم اسی طرح اپنے لوگوں سے ملو گے جو مر گئے ہیں جیسے تمہا را بھا ئی ہا رون حور پہا ڑ پر انتقال کئے اور اپنے لوگوں میں ملے۔
51 کیوں ؟ کیوں کہ جب تم سین کے ریگستان میں قادِس کے قریب مریبہ کے پانی کے پاس تھے تو میرے خلا ف گنا ہ کیا تھا۔ اور بنی اسرا ئیلیوں نے اسے وہاں دیکھا تھا تم نے میری عزّت نہیں کی اور تم نےیہ لوگوں کو نہیں دکھا یا کہ میں پاک ہوں۔ 52 اس لئے اب تم اپنے سامنے اس ملک کو دیکھ سکتے ہو لیکن تم اس ملک میں جا نہیں سکتے جسے میں بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کودے رہا ہوں۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses you shall not cross the Jordan – Joshua will lead Israelites
Lord told Moses you will die on Mount Nebo in Moab as Haroon died on Mount Hor – As you both broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at waters of Meribah as you didn't uphold my holiness – Therefore you will see the land from a distance and you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel
God demands obedience in all circumstances even from his prophet like Moses - with whom he talked -
- so we need to obey God and in turn get His blessings otherwise disaster for us
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
