Joshua; Chapter 1 Verse 7-9
Joshua Installed as Leader
7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
7 لیکن تمہیں ایک دوسری بات کے لئے بھی حوصلہ مند اور با ہمّت رہنا ہوگا۔ تمہیں اُن احکام کی تعمیل یقیناً کرنی چاہئے جسے میرے خادم موسیٰ نے تمہیں دیا اگر تم ان تعلیمات پر اسی طرح عمل کئے تو تم ہر چیز میں کامیاب رہو گے۔ 8 اس شریعت کی کتاب میں لکھی گئی باتوں کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھو۔ پھر تم اس میں لکھے گئے احکام کی تعمیل یقین سے کر سکتے ہو۔ اگر تم ایسا کروگے تو تم دانشور بنو گے اور جو کچھ تم کروگے اُس میں کامیاب ہوگے 9 یاد رکھو کہ میں نے تمہیں طاقتور اور با ہمّت بنے رہنے کا حکم دیا تھا۔ اس لئے کبھی خوفزدہ نہ ہو۔ کیوں کہ تمہارا خدا وند خدا تمہارے ساتھ ہر اُس جگہ پر رہے گا جہاں تم جاؤ گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses be strong and courageous – be careful to obey my laws and decrees Moses gave you- don’t turn right or left so that you may be successful wherever you go – keep this book of law on your lips, meditate on it day and night and be careful to do everything written in it. – do not be afraid as I will be with you wherever you go
God told us a way how to live if we want His presence in our lives & its 3- steps method, 1st, book of laws on our lips means recitations; 2nd, mediate on these laws and 3rd act on these laws - then there is no fear as God will accompany us
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
