Joshua; Chapter 4 Verse 1-3
When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, 2 “Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, 3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”
لوگوں کی یاد دہانی کے لئے چٹّانیں
4 جب تمام بنی اسرائیلیوں نے دریائے یردن کو پار کر لیا تھا تب خدا وند نے یشوع سے کہا۔ 2 “بارہ آدمیوں کو لوگوں میں سے چُنو۔ ہر خاندانی گروہ سے ایک ایک آدمی چُنو۔ 3 لوگوں سے کہو کہ وہ وہاں دریا میں دیکھیں جہاں کاہن لوگ کھڑے تھے۔ اُن سے کہو کہ وہاں بارہ چٹانیں تلاش کریں اور اسے اپنے ساتھ لائیں اور اسے چھاؤنی میں رکھیں جہاں تم رات گزارنے جاتے ہو۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses be strong and courageous – be careful to obey my laws and decrees Moses gave you- don’t turn right or left so that you may be successful wherever you go –
When people finished crossing Jordan – Lord told Joshua choose 12 men from each tribe – and tell them to take 12 stones from middle of Jordan where priest standing and put them to place where you stay tonight
God want us to do something for rememberance of His works He did for our well-being
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
