Joshua; Chapter 7 Verse 1
Achan’s Sin
But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.
عکن کا گناہ
7 لیکن بنی اسرا ئیلیوں نے خداوند کے حکم کو نہیں مانا۔ یہوداہ خاندانی گروہ کا ایک آدمی جس کا نام عکن تھا جو کرمی کا بیٹا اور زمری کا پو تا تھا۔ عکن نے کچھ چیزیں جنہیں تباہ کرنے کے لئے چنی گئی تھیں رکھ لی تھیں اس لئے خداوند نے بنی اسرا ئیلیوں پر بہت غصّہ کیا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Joshua be strong and courageous – be careful to obey my laws and decrees Moses gave you- don’t turn right or left so that you may be successful wherever you go –
After capture of Jerico city ;Israelites were unfaithful in devoted things so Lord’s anger burned against them
God wants us to be up-right in our dealings towards Him and our fellow-beings
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
