Joshua; Chapter 10 Verse 40-43
40 So Joshua subdued the whole region, including the hill country, the Negev, the western foothills and the mountain slopes, together with all their kings. He left no survivors. He totally destroyed all who breathed, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded. 41 Joshua subdued them from Kadesh Barnea to Gaza and from the whole region of Goshen to Gibeon. 42 All these kings and their lands Joshua conquered in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.
Joshua destroyed all who breathed as the Lord, the God of Israel had commanded – He conquered all region in one campaign as the God of Israel fought for Israel
43 Then Joshua returned with all Israel to the camp at Gilgal
40 اس طرح یشوع نے پہا ڑی ملک ، نیگیو، مغربی و مشرقی پہا ڑی ترائیو ں کے شہر کے سبھی بادشا ہوں کو شکست دی۔ خداوند اسرا ئیل کے خدا نے یشوع سے کہا تھا کہ تمام لوگوں کو مار ڈا لو اس لئے یشوع نے ان جگہوں پر کسی کو زندہ نہیں چھو ڑا۔
41 یشوع نے قادِس برنیع سے غزہ تک تمام شہروں پر قبضہ کیا۔ اس نے جشن سے جبعون تک ( مصر میں ) کے تمام شہرو ں پر قبضہ کیا۔ 42 یشوع نے ایک مرتبہ ہی ان شہروں اور ان کے بادشا ہوں کو فتح کیا یشوع نے ایسا اس لئے کیا کہ اسرا ئیل کا خداوند خدا اسرا ئیل کے لئے لڑ رہا تھا۔ 43 تب یشوع اور سبھی بنی اسرا ئیل جلجال کو اپنے خیمہ میں لو ٹ آئے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Joshua be strong and courageous – be careful to obey my laws and decrees Moses gave you- don’t turn right or left so that you may be successful wherever you go –
The Lord gave hill country, the Negev, the western foothills and the mountain slopes, together with all their king into Israel’s hand
and tell Joshua leave no survivors in all these regions and he did as per Lord's command
God wants us to do as what He wants - then there is victory for us - if God is with us ; no one can defeat us - It is God who can give kingdoms and it is Him who can take back only - as all kingdoms of the world belongs to Him
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
